Bromfield Group Ltd Says:

The Bromfield application is not correct in describing the application site as ‘within‘ Gwernaffield, ‘highly sustainable‘ and ‘accessible‘ with a ‘high level‘ of  services & facilities.

Repeating these statements over and over in the application does not make them true.

The Bromfield application says:

* ‘The application site is located partially within the development boundary of Gwernaffield’

* ‘The application site is located partially within, but mainly adjoining, the development boundary of Gwernaffield’

* ‘… the application site is located within Gwernaffield

* ‘The application site is located within an accessible and sustainable location which is well connected to  Mold…’

* ‘The application site is located within a highly sustainable location with links to bus and footpaths’

* ‘ …the proposed development site is accessible by all means of transport including walking, cycle and public transport which will serve the future residents of the proposed development’

* ‘Gwernaffield offers a wide range of services and community facilities, in addition to the range of employment opportunities available locally’

* ‘Gwernaffield is a highly sustainable settlement and is located within walking distance of Mold. The site benefits from good accessibility and public transport links too. A new footpath link from Gwernaffield to Mold has recently been installed and this emphasises the sustainable location and connectivity of the settlement’

* ‘In terms of the social benefits of the proposed development, the scheme will provide housing  within the accessible and sustainable settlement of Gwernaffield’

* ‘The settlement however benefits from a number of facilities and is considered to be highly sustainable as a consequence…’

* ‘Gwernaffield is a highly sustainable location which would accommodate growth given its high level of services, facilities and transport links’
